Shalom Dear Ones!

I hope you are staying well and in the shalom of God.

Life has certainly changed during this worldwide pandemic, and many of the things that we have taken for granted and relied on have come to a halt.

But God’s Word has not changed, and we can ALWAYS rely on Him to uphold His Word. His Word is an anchor to our soul. When circumstances, trials and tribulations attempt to bring swirling winds of anxiety, we can stay in perfect peace when God’s Word is kept in the forefront of our minds and on our lips.

God has given His people many promises in His Word. And GOD KEEPS HIS PROMISES.

Even when life throws a huge curve ball making it look impossible for His promises to be fulfilled, HE IS FAITHFUL.

But He does require us to remain faithful and trust Him to perform His Word.

For instance, Abraham was given specific promises, and although in the natural, they looked impossible at times, God proved Himself faithful. And He will do it again and again.

Let’s read Genesis 17:1-8

“When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to him and said, “I am God Almighty; walk before me faithfully and be blameless. Then I will make my covenant between me and you and will greatly increase your numbers.”

“Abram fell facedown, and God said to him, “As for me, this is my covenant with you: You will be the father of many nations. No longer will you be called Abram; your name will be Abraham, for I have made you a father of many nations.  I will make you very fruitful; I will make nations of you, and kings will come from you.  I will establish my covenant as an everlasting covenant between me and you and your descendants after you for the generations to come, to be your God and the God of your descendants after you. The whole land of Canaan, where you now reside as a foreigner, I will give as an everlasting possession to you and your descendants after you; and I will be their God.

What promise are you waiting for God to fulfill in your life? Be patient, faithful and steadfast, and He will bring it to pass.

Heavenly Father,

Help me to trust You and remain faithful to You no matter what. Give me the revelation in Your Word that will build an anchor in my soul to keep me stable in times of trouble.

Amen.

Blessings,

Sherry

The End Times

Hello Dear Ones!

We are living in very surreal times. The Bible is unfolding daily before us. It’s time to seek God and KNOW Him, His Word and His voice. When we are walking with God, there is comfort in knowing that He holds the world in His hands, and nothing surprises Him. He neither slumbers nor sleeps. He is like no other. We can trust Him COMPLETELY with our lives no matter what happens on this earth. It may look like everything is falling apart, yet HE IS STILL ON THE THRONE. And actually a lot of things are coming together and quickly. Life as we have known it has dramatically changed. We can’t climb under a rock or stick our heads in the sand to avoid everything going on around us.

Be reassured that GOD IS STILL IN CONTROL. The world system may be spinning out of control, but GOD’S KINGDOM WILL NEVER BE SHAKEN NOR WILL IT EVER COME TO AN END. In fact, God’s Kingdom is advancing and soon we will see even more Scripture unfold.

In the Book of Daniel, the Scriptures speak of THE END TIMES. Clearly, we are now living in the end times. And watching Israel (GOD’S LAND) is vitally important to knowing what’s ahead. Michael the Archangel has the job of watching over Israel.

It’s not uncommon to have a hard time understanding some Scriptures. But just reading the Scriptures gives you the opportunity to be enlightened to the Truth. Ask God to reveal the meaning as you read.

Let’s read Daniel Chapter 12

“At that time Michael, the great prince who protects your people, will arise. There will be a time of distress such as has not happened from the beginning of nations until then. But at that time your people—everyone whose name is found written in the book—will be delivered. Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake: some to everlasting life, others to shame and everlasting contempt. Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever. But you, Daniel, roll up and seal the words of the scroll until the time of the end. Many will go here and there to increase knowledge.”

Then I, Daniel, looked, and there before me stood two others, one on this bank of the river and one on the opposite bank. One of them said to the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, “How long will it be before these astonishing things are fulfilled?”

The man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, lifted his right hand and his left hand toward heaven, and I heard him swear by him who lives forever, saying, “It will be for a time, times and half a time. When the power of the holy people has been finally broken, all these things will be completed.

I heard, but I did not understand. So I asked, “My lord, what will the outcome of all this be?”

He replied, “Go your way, Daniel, because the words are rolled up and sealed until the time of the end. 10 Many will be purified, made spotless and refined, but the wicked will continue to be wicked. None of the wicked will understand, but those who are wise will understand.

11 “From the time that the daily sacrifice is abolished and the abomination that causes desolation is set up, there will be 1,290 days. 12 Blessed is the one who waits for and reaches the end of the 1,335 days.

13 “As for you, go your way till the end. You will rest, and then at the end of the days you will rise to receive your allotted inheritance.

Heavenly Father,

Help us to humble ourselves and pray and seek Your face and turn from any ways that are not pleasing to You. Forgive us Lord. Heal us and heal our land. Give us revelation for the times that we now live in and how to prepare for the days ahead. Amen.

Blessings,

Sherry

Run to God

Shalom Precious Ones,

I hope you are staying well during this COVID-19 global pandemic. This is a time to call on God and cry out to Him in our distress. Many are running TO God during this painful time, but unfortunately, there are also those who are running AWAY from God because they don’t realize that He is THE ANSWER and THE SOURCE OF HELP that our world desperately needs. Feeling helpless is not a comfortable feeling. Recognizing that we are dependent on God’s mercy and grace every moment of our lives can be humbling. But humility is a good thing.

“When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom.” Proverbs 11:2 (NIV)

“Humility is the fear of the Lord; its wages are riches and honor and life.” Proverbs 22:4

“Before a downfall the heart is haughty, but humility comes before honor.” Proverbs 18:12

“He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.” Micah 6:8

“He mocks proud mockers but shows favor to the humble and oppressed.” Proverbs 3:34

Jonah, the Biblical character, was a man with a divine assignment from God. But when God gave Jonah a tough job to do, he ran AWAY from God instead of running TO God and calling on HIS grace, mercy and strength.

“But Jonah ran away from the Lord and headed for Tarshish. He went down to Joppa, where he found a ship bound for that port. After paying the fare, he went aboard and sailed for Tarshish to flee from the Lord.” Joan 1:3

But eventually AFTER Jonah suffered for running AWAY from God, he turned TO God and cried out in his distress, and God answered his cry.

He said: “In my distress I called to the Lord, and he answered me. From deep in the realm of the dead I called for help, and you listened to my cry.” Jona 2:2

God is faithful! We MUST get that revelation if we are going to be able to stand in these perilous times.

NO MATTER WHAT—WE NEED TO RUN TO GOD FOR HIS MERCY, GRACE, STRENGTH and POWER TO STAND. He cares and loves us more than we could ever comprehend in our finite minds.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:5-6

Heavenly Father, help us to be steadfast in our faith and trust in YOU, no matter what. Remind us to run TO YOU and not from You, especially when we are going through trials, struggles and any crisis. You are there waiting to impart the strength we need.

Amen.

Blessings,

Sherry
